no more MEDICINE? now what?

I came to the pastoral house yesterday morning (October 5) from my 3-day stay at home in Bataan (Philippines). Picked up and arranged the house and got myself ready to go to the IBC office. I attended the Chapel Service at 11am and then took lunch with the staff. I work part time as an IT and Promo adviser to the Bible College. I was able to drink two cups of 3-in-1 coffee (with sugar). One in the morning and one in the afternoon. At about 4pm, I went back to the house.

On my way, I went to the market to buy some food supply. I cooked one local fish and boiled vegetables in fish sauce. In between my activities, I tried my best to take time to send a message to my wife and kids. I remembered them as I took my dinner. Afterwards, I prepared for our Midweek Worship Service. People started to arrive and we had a spiritual worship and prayer together. I gave a sermon on The Things We Should Pray before the Lord. I was left alone again in the church when the brethren started to go home. So tasty, I took another serving of rice and the viand I cooked. Watched a couple of TV programs. And visited the net.

Sleepy, I went to bed. That's where the problem started. I felt dizzy every time I lay myself down. The more I tried to sleep, the more pain I was experiencing. I decided to test my blood sugar level. TOO HIGH than before. I then remembered, I haven't took any of my medicine! I looked for my med-dispenser. To my surprise, I don't have any of my medicine. Nothing to dispense. And the stressful part, it was past 12 midnight already.

Now what? I took a pitcher of water from the fridge and began to drink the water all the way down. I forwarded a message to my wife about my situation. And the best option, I prayed so hard before the merciful throne of our God Almighty. Trusting Him to lower down my blood sugar and spare my life for the sake of my family.

I listened to Gospel music to bring comfort as I sleep. Hoping for God's mighty work.

I slept overnight waking from time to time to dispense water from within me. And waking up with a lowered blood sugar level. Praise the Lord!
