Today, I am starting to put Malunggay leaves in my diet. Malunggay trees are all over our place. The leaves and its fruits are always available. It may lessen my budget buying Diabetes maintenance medicine.
This early morning my wife readied her mixed vegetables (pinakbet). She went to School for her class, thinking to be back to cook it before lunch. I took the task of cooking our meal. I asked my eldest son to pick malunggay leaves in front of our house. My daughter separated the leaves from the stem. And I added the leaves with the other vegetables. Hoping that this move will help lessen my blood sugar level.
Of course, prayer before any meal, saying graces before the Lord helps a lot! "Thank You, Lord for the malunggay leaves! Amen!"
